By providing drop-in surgeries at local libraries and community centres, we're able to give informal support, advice and hopefully inspiration to many more would-be self-employed. Whilst face-to-face sessions are on-hold due to coronavirus restrictions, phone calls and video calls are readily available for anyone who has a question or an idea to discuss...
Working with other charities and businesses in Oswestry, Be a better fish has led a number of workshops to help bring together a collective effort to tackle poverty and isolation in our community. With support from the Mayor of Oswestry Cllr John Price, we've kicked off several projects to help the most isolated and vulnerable members of our town and villages.
With so many people struggling with mental health issues, it's important that support organisations work together to enable recovery, stability and growth for sufferers. We've been proud to work with Designs in Mind staff and members, to provide an additional level of guidance and belief for those taking early steps to becoming more independent.
